ABOUT ME

Hi welcome and Thank you for taking the time to visit my site.

My name is Kerry and I am a integrative counsellor, this means that I am trained to work with clients in various ways.

I have a history of working in healthcare in the NHS and private healthcare sector for most of my working life and more recently over the past few years my work has been involved in overseeing a mental health support service based in Lincoln.

I have experience of working with adults with various life experiences including stress, anxiety, domestic abuse, trauma, and other life challenges. I am passionate about seeing people overcome challenges and learn how to cope with feelings and emotions in a healthy way. I also have experience working with young people within schools and private practice.

I have always had a passion to help others and discovering how therapy can be so life changing I decided to retrain as a counsellor. I now feel privileged to be able to play a part in another persons journey and feel honoured to sit alongside my clients to help them work through their life difficulties.

I pride my counselling practice on creating a safe non-judgemental environment allowing you to come just as you are and for you to feel comfortable to truly explore what is going on for you.

We rarely feel truly heard in life and I see my role as allowing you a space that is just for you to feel heard, accepted and understood as I believe this is when meaningful change can happen and where we can begin to rediscover balance in life.

Life has many ups and downs and I truly believe that counselling can help people navigate that journey.

I am just another human like you on this journey of life so working we me you can expect a down to earth approach, one where we work together, allowing you time and space to unpick and explore what is on your mind and why things may be the way there are for you at this time.

Making that first step to begin therapy can feel daunting however that first step can lead onto a journey of self discovery and healing.
